Huddersfield v City post match

Nob city fan on Bt, just helped them be very negative about City. At least Mcmanaman was fairly level headed. Hoddle a twat as usual.

Not sure why but that performance today has really pissed me off. dunno if its to do with what I was expecting. I've not felt like this after a game for ages. the atmosphere in our end was shit, the team was shit, everything was shit. was decent before the game in the 2 pubs in Huddersfield though, that wasn't shit

i was watching online so can't really comment, but our fans didn't sound loud, maybe too many of our fans just expecting us to win ?

2 things we learned if we didn't already know . Our back ups are nowhere near good enough and pep has no faith in our young players. The latter is really puzzling, particularly when you see the likes of Delph and navas getting game time.

Watched the youth players today away at Chelsea on Chelsea TV and in all honesty they're no where near ready to step up. Maybe at home when we're three nil up, bring one on, maybe two. Huddersfield would tear them apart, they'd get bullied. I'd hate to see that Connel. The kids need time to develop at loan clubs first, picking up there strength and gaining adult football, unless they are really gifted.

Perhaps we will see Diaz or Sancho in a year or two as subs, other than that it's a no no and unfair. Arsenal used to do it, but not anymore, that's because the game has changed massively in England.

I trust Pep to get it right and unless we have a player as with the potential of Messi its not going to happen.

Stay cool, we are in good hands.

Not the end of the world when you consider the hostile nature of the environment, and the fact we have a free weekend coming up.

If anything, a stark reminder that the balance and quality of our squad overall isn't what it needs to be, and we've made some big mistakes in the transfer market in recent years.

Have a great chance to progress still and maybe think of it as giving some fringe players some match practice. I didn't see anything from them that makes me feel concern for the replay, but admittedly they weren't at full strength either.

We can probably afford something closer to our first team for the replay. At least one of Silva, Yaya or kev to make us tick. At least one of sane or Sterling wide to penetrate.

Extremely worrying however is the fact that Aguero is clearly suffering. His touch is heavy. His shots are rash. He movement is not planned and confident. Not the Sergio we know, needs to change urgently but thankfully Monaco could be the right stage for him.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but when
both teams produce such a drab awful
display making numerous changes that
then lead to a replay surely this policy is
counter productive?
Far too much emphasis again is being placed
on the Champions League, a trophy we have
little chance of winning and sacrificing a trophy that represents our best chance of
silverware this season.
I get it but don't agree with it.

I think Pep was stuck between a rock and a hard place today. We have a very important game just 3 days away, so he had no choice really other than to keep the likes of Sterling, Merlin, KDB, Sane out of the starting line up and Merlin not even on the bench. The so called second string players should have had enough, but Huddersfield are a well drilled side, and certainly no mugs.

We made changes with only 20 minutes to go after some pretty abject displays from players who should be able to perform at this level, but that is hardly Peps fault. A fully confident Aguero would have had a hat-trick today, but instead, he was a yard or two off the pace, and didn't really get the right balls to run on to until at least the 40 minute mark. No doubt he'll be our point man for the CL game on Tuesday, so ideally we could do with him on the pace.

On the bright side Bravo had a good game, and Otamendi/Stones played well, so it's not all bad. Plus, we should smash them in the replay at our place (even though we shouldn't be having to play them again).

City do not know what the Fa cup is. According to the gospel of Hoddle on Bt just now.

Are we yet to concede a goal , and not yet had a home draw. Lovely man.

not the worst result tbh, still in the cup and at home next game. huddersfield played really well. we should be going all out to win this trophy.
