I never really notice what happens at half time, too busy catching up with the people around me. We sit/stand and have a chat, sometimes about the first half sometimes about transfers and sometimes just about what we've been doing since last we met. It's a strange concept I know, this talking to people but it seems a lot more interesting, from what I'm reading, than whatever the half time entertainment appears to be!! ;-)
Maybe talking to the people around you might catch on eh? ;-)

Anyone who knows journalism and the entertainment business will understand and respect what a difficult job it is to present in front of 50k people.
It's even harder when your audience have little if any interest in what you're saying.
He has to be charismatic, it's his job. If I'm honest, I don't mind him at all. Between looking at my phone and sipping a bovril, he provides 'light' entertainment.
Back the fuck up and leave him alone.

I'd rather watch people taking selfies of themselves on the centre spot of the centre circle and that gives no indication that they were actually stood in the centre circle than do that!

He's harmless enough. You need a bit of the Alan Partridge to do that job.

He's not that bad - the fucking guff he has to present on the other hand... I don't drink at the game so like others I avoid the mad scramble for a beer and will browse this site at HT to see how all the wreck heads in the match day forum are getting on (rarely disappoints..) Occasionally i'll glance down at the pitch to see what's happening. Center circle selfies and someone who can't get the words to bluemoon correct tells me we may need to work on our material.
