Hugh Ferris/Match day presenters

Gets worse every season though. I try and get to my seat just before kick now, to avoid that god awful pre match video, which they show every single fucking game.
I think we're currently on the fourth version of the pre-match video and it gets worse every time.
Just show the highlights of the previous season (or the season to date when there's enough stuff to show) and none of this cut and paste bollocks where you see the shot but not the ball hitting the net. We don't need nonsense like the "We play for you" video or any of the others.
YNWA may be a dirge but it gets the dippers going for a few minutes and "Grand Old Team" wakes them up across the park, but our lot just don't seem to realise that nobody is interested.

He didn't on Monday evening, he was truly dreadful, sometimes rude to those on stage, especially one of our great past players who deserved more respect.

He's also badly tainted by bbc sport too imho, a place full of dippers and rags.
Only saw a brief clip of Monday but if as you say he blew that gig so what , no reason he can't carry on as match day front man?

Ferris is ok.
He's a polished professional presenter which is all you need for the match day pre and post match presentation which is basically just PR for the club. There is no real objectivity (If we get beat the post match analysis doesn't even happen).
Danny and Nat provide the passionate fans perspective, and other guests ( ex players etc) all add to the mix. Ferris fronts all this pretty well in my opinion. I'm not bothered whether he supports City or not, he doesn't have to , there's plenty of others on the stage who do. He just brings it all together.

Think we're in the minority mate. There's alot to complain about but Ferris is nowhere near the top of my list.

I'm not arsed about his match day stuff, I rarely see it, but for a few minutes, when unfortunate.

I saw his whole 2 (and a good bit) hours on Monday, and he was an aloof arse. It didn't "ruin my night". I went to celebrate with my son, celebrate a wonderful season, a unique season, one I'll probably never see again, and I did thoroughly enjoy it, but its fair to comment on the guy who fronted a lot of it. At times he was unprofessional, there were a number of times, to former players, backroom staff, and current players.

If you want to judge for yourself, the whole thing is available on YouTube, as I've just watched it back, my missus has just watched the stage bit, and even she was pissed off by him, a better, and more neutral judge than me.

It was a great night, a great celebration of our club, but he was a bit of a stain on it imho.

Watch it all and you will want to have him removed forthwith. The players were not happy with him at all.

KDB was brilliant, "you're fired by the way". First thing he said to the twat when KDB took the mic off him when he walked on stage.
