Hughes calls for clarity over Tevez row, MuEN block comments

The MUEN had offices at Bank St during the short period that the scum actually played in Manchester.

Brennan the rag reporting on City, Hughes the rag spouting off in the MUEN, failure to publish constructive comments by blues on their website but letting rag windowlickers write whatever they like.

MUEN written for rags by rags, the sooner it goes under the better.

I have tried posting on muen website but alas no joy
havent been able to post on blue or rag side
Dunno why i bother, some of the shite i have read on the comments section is beyond belief and unable to counter it with any argument due to refusal of the "Mods" to post my comments
Seems as long as you are a Trafford Red Sox Supporter then anything goes
WANKERS

Gary James is the one to help there but I believe The Manchester Evening Chronicle owners where connected to the clubs board(our board). When the rags moved to Trafford the MEN had offices on their land and while each paper reported on the other club it was always seen as one paper being blue and the other red.

All in "Manchester A Football History" - not a plug (get the book out of the library or borrow one if you haven't got it). Basically, City's chairman owned the MEC (and most of the sporting press) and NH/Utd were not getting much coverage. So they gave the MEN an office on their ground at Bank St and exclusive access to try and balance things up.

The MEN became known as Utd's paper and the MEC as City's - neither was actually biased but they did have better access. The MEC published the Pink and the MEN the Green - when the MEC was struggling in the 60s (co-incidentally as City struggled - a link perhaps?) the MEN took it over, closed the paper but kept the more popular Pink and ditched the Green.

There's more to it than that, but it gives you a taster.

I find it quite sad that our local paper, which I for one used to buy religiously, has descended to such a poor level.

Growing up we had it delivered every night but now i wouldn't wipe my arse on it!!!

It really is a disgrace of a paper now!!! Very Very sad !! :(

I see so this was before moving to Old Trafford, I knew I would screw the story up somehow!
