The Hughes out lot just say the same stuff they used to say about Swen, Pearce, Royle, and every other manager since Joe Mercer.
This stuff about "he's had enough time - it's a disgrace" etc is total, utter bollocks. People forget Evertonians calling for Moyes' head a while back and even Leicester fans wanted rid of Martin O'Neill at one point. To achieve long-lasting success it is going to take seasons not weeks. The example of Ferguson at the Rags should be obvious.
The fundamental problem this club has had since the 70's is we fuck off managers after a few dodgy results, bring someelse in and then sack him when the exact pattern repeats itself.
I'm convinced there are plenty of City fans who were pleased when Fulham and Burnely equalised as it meant they could boo at the end and knowlingly nod they're heads and say it's time for Hughes to go. Then they bang on about getting a "good young manager like Owen Coyle"! Last year they'd have wanted Phil fucking Brown. Either that or they want some foreign coach who they saw on Sky last week when his team happened to play well away at Real Madrid or Barcalona.
It's a shame, but plenty of our supporters are morons who, despite watching City for years, can't understand that sacking managers every 18 months is idiotic and has created zero in terms of trophies.
