FFS, this is all based on a rumour, from some ITK on another forum who admits that it's just a rumour in the club, and there's me thinking that most of the club would be off work today, no match and it being a Sunday
Aye, best ignore the 170 pages of rumour on News from the UAE thread to, in fact why not just close the forum down and post a link to mcfc.co.uk

Inter - very very successful!!!!
How's his English? He needs to come in and make an immediate impact or we'll be calling for his head by summer.

And on and on and on

Well, he ended his playing career in Leicester...So he might make himself understood I guess.

lets face it, we should stick with MH. because we never stick to a manager for a long period. and look where that has got us, 30 years of misery.
Hear Hear!!!

If that is the only reason you have for sticking with MH then it's an extremely poor one.

Like Real Madrid stuck with the manager who just won La Liga with them?

30 years of mainly shit managers, I'll be happy to stick when we finally get a decent one - NEXT!

I can't see why all transfer activity would be frozen, even if Hughes' future is under formal scrutiny.

It may well be that finalising any deals is deferred, but the negotiations around potential targets must go on.

Suprisingly this :)

Are you so naive best case scenario is mid table worst is getting relegated.
IMO we will not be going down. If Hughes is allowed to bring in players and stay on, then we will climb the table rapidly, again IMO.
Go on then, dazzle me, what the fuck are you basing that assumption on?
It is not an assumption, it is my opinion as I stated twice.

I am basing it on the fact that he has brought in good players already. Arguably our best players this season, except Ireland of course.

Zabaleta
SWP
Kompany

Jo, TBH and Robinho were not his signings, we all know that. OK Glauber has not even played but he said he was not sure on him, which is why he only signed a 1 year deal.

Bridge is another good addition. He will add to this throughout January and we will be a much better team come Feb and will climb the table.

Trouble makers will be sold or left out in the cold.
I have been on this site off and on all day and I think this is easily the best post I have read. Fully and totally agree. Well said.

Yes he makes mistakes, he is still a very young Manager, but could turn out to be a gem.

Remember how close Taggart was from the sack all them years ago. A late Mark Robbins goal apparently saved his skin.

I am sure you have all heard the Dippers moaning about some of Benitez's team selections last year and resting players.

This year he now has a stronger squad (which is what we should have by Feb) and they are top of the league. Also note they have been without Torres for most of the season.

No I don't get putting Fernandez on the left etc, but he SHOULD have cover in all positions come Feb.

Have I bought him a reprieve???
