winding down in life.
they have always wanted mancini, he very nearly came in at the start, they have'nt sacked hughes because of bad results, they have sacked incase he wins all the games over the xmas period or worse won the carling cup. they would have been a laughing stock had they got mancini in after we finish 4th and win a cup.
yes even more than they are now.

i want mancini to do well, i have nothing against him, i'm glad kidd is there too, i want city to win every game and every cup and mancini is no mug.

city though have made me ashamed to be a blue.

i never thought that was possible.

Which is why mate, they should have done this last year or even when they came in. They tried to do the right thing by the media for me instead of doing what they wanted and that was the mistake.

Onwards and upwards!

He won 3 titles on the spin at Inter and replaced by Mourinho. Do you think Inter became a laughing stock? Del Bosque did similar at Madrid, don't think they were a laughing stock.

I'm sure this is true... Hughes has gone but lots of other people need to take a long hard look at themselves.

He was given every opportunity, just didn't do enough in terms of performances and results in the long run.

If that was the case then hughes has had a fair crack of the whip to make sure he couldn't be replaced, he simply failed and was replaced. Get over it, he wasn't good enough and now we move on.

Win percentages: Mark Hughes 39%. SGE 40%. Stuart Pearce 33%. Bearing in mind the net spend of each manager, Hughes had his chance and blew it.

The reality is that had Hughes won just 3 or 4 of the 8 draws, he'd have been unsackable. He had his chance and failed to take it, which is a shame. Let's just hope Mancini is the answer.

de niro, almost agree with you good buddy. I think they wanted their own man in from outset but had to wait a while. On reflection, the gifting of Robinho and Hughes handling of him probably irked the owner - he wants stellar success, not mediocre results.

Yeah, it wasn't Swales, or Franny Lee, or Wardle who did that to you, it was Khaldoon because they brought their man in after backing the old manager for 18 months and to the tune of £200m.

Bastards they are.
