Hughes on Robbie

I hope Hughes isn't being this cowardly in the dressing room. I can understand him not criticising Robinho publicly but I hope he's taken a different view privately. At the end of the day the club pay Robinho's wages so he should do what the manager tells him to do, whether he likes it or not.

I think that cowardice is the last think of which you could accuse Hughes . But if fans want a ranter and a raver Hughes, I feel, isn't that sort of manager.

He may well deal with it in-house, why should he come out in the press and tell them - its got sod all to do with them. Telling them anything only leads to them making up more lies. Not sure how the press constantly get away with printing untruths/blatant lies.

NONE of Spurs / Villa / Yernited (especially) / Liverpool / Chelsea players would dare to fuck off like that down the tunnel

rooney always has a paddy when he gets taken off!

He has mis alligned passion - there is a difference IMO - He throws one because he gives a fuck

For all Shreks faults he fucking loves football

It's no that uncommon to not go sit on the bench, he probably was disappointed as hell, with himself and the team. Didn't De Jong show some "lack" of respect as well? Where is his thread? Making problems where there are none guys.

Great management mark, all the players will go for a nice early bath now,

you should of come out hughes and just said, i'm a shit manager, robinho doesnt like me, i can't handle a player like him, i'm to small for this job'

I agree Robinho is not playing that well but he has been out for some time.

However he is a first choice Brazilian with over 60 caps. Ergo a top world player.

Hughes on the other hand is a journeyman manager.

So the likely scenario is that Hughes is unable to make good use of a unique talent. In the same way that Joe Royle didn't really understand Gio Kinkladze.

Robinho once again was just he scapegoat last night, i can name at least 7 players who had worse games than him:

ireland - he was wank, or is that wrong to talk about 'superman' like that?

barry - shit, non existant, been awful for over 2 months, he thought we were wearing white shirts last night when he passed the ball

all the back 4 - don't really need to say out

adebayor - might aswell of stayed in the changing rooms

de jong - played really well, broke things up, winnings tackles, business as usual for nige

tevez - my city MOTM for me, was outstanding, lost ot once or twice but expected when you have 8-9 men around you who dont look bothered

if chelsea were 2-0 down would they take drogba or anelka off? if the rags were 2-0 down would they take rooney off? or liverpool with torres or gerrard?

the answer is simply no.

why couldnt he of tried something different? why couldn't he of made a triple subsitution? weiss, petrov and RSC for ireland adebayor either de jong or barry.

he had nothing to lose cos we were getting spanked and it would of been interesting to see robinho playing where ireland usually does and have weiss and petrov bombing down the flanks. give the yids something to think about?

the trouble with hughes is the substitutions always come to late. robbie off on the hour, he gave it ten mins and we were still being bummed and then brings RSC for ade on 70mins.

its too predictable, he'll do the same this weekend if (or when) we're getting beat by sunderland.
