Hughes on Robbie

Got to agree with the post above. Hughes needs to learn how to make impact substitutions at the right time. It was clear last night that we had no width, Ireland wasn't great, Adebayor and Barry have been shit for weeks, Weiss & Santa Cruz need Premier League game time, Petrov needs a run out on the left and Robinho needs to be tried in a more creative central position.

Hughes has no tactical knowhow or Bollocks to do anything about it, other than doing his predictable routine of subbing De Jong, Robinho etc..

Complete wanker.

Rant over.

Robinho had the right idea.

Who'd have wanted to watch that shite last night unless they had to?

Must be frustrating being Robinho, he's one of the few players who Hughes takes off, every fucking game, along with De Jong.

I've never felt for a minute that Robbie wants to leave us but fuck knows why he'd want to stay.

Robinho is a world class player, whom I personally feel is WASTED out on the left. We are becoming too predictable with our formation and tactics. Tevez could have even dropped into a more creative midfield role for fuck sake, he drops back there most of the game anyway, looking for the ball.

Robinho is a talent that MCFC and certainly Mark Hughes are not ready for.

I agree.

Hughes can't handle Robinho, it's all a big hassle for him. He'd rather play a work horse who doubles up as a left back. We spend too much time worrying about how our opponents will play and seemingly no time on our own game plan.

your team is 2 zip down with 20 mins to go......you don't just fuck off down the tunnell

This situation is running away from hughes very quickly

lol, would we have drawn/won if Robbie had stayed on the bench to cheer us on?

This is a non-story, as Hughes said there is specific rule for the players and Robinho isn't the only one to have done this recently.

Hughes may not be City manager much longer if last night is anything to go by. Then I assume we will see a world class player in Robinho who turns it on not only when we 3 - 0 up to the likes of Hull at home but against away against the likes of Spurs and Stoke.

Not all our problems can be laid at Robinhos door but Kinklade shone in a poor team so surely this player that many people think is so brilliant could do the same.

Hughes should not be allowing players (unless injured) to go straight to the dressing room. The least we need is a good team spirit.
