Was it Benjani; joke over. Billy I am not saying Iam right Hughes is wrong, I would wager my home on Hughes being a better football manager than me; safe bet.

I am entitled to an opinion though on my favourite team, and while I have warmed to Hughes, a great spokesperson for the club well up to Fergie dog baiting games (Unlike Benitez and Wenger), a great eye for talent and a winning mentality, I just think tactically he needs to improve. Thats not a crime, he has never had such talent, resources at his disposal before, he is learning.


Yes, if he had made different tactical changes or brought on substitutes we could have got stuffed 6 - 2 who knows.

In the end it is one of the best City performances in about 33 years, I was chuffed and gutted at the same time. What a team we have, what potential; team and manager. He could be the next Fergie.

I hear you mate. I really do. Hughes is by no means the finished article. And neither are his team. But we're closer than we've ever been in my lifetime...

Agree with that post 100%. I significantly warmed to MH last week as he finally convinced me he was 100% bothered about MCFC and not any sort of allegiance or crawly cuddliness to that lot like some of his other ex colleagues (Robson, Bruce, Ince et al) BUT I am afraid he made really poor mistakes on Sunday...as per that post I couldnt have put them better myself!
