'Ello 'arry triffic son.

It makes sense to turn down 'The Tinker Man' for The great British hope Mark 'Sparky' 'Leslie' Hughes.

I quite like the ol' spiv

At least he brings a bit of character to the Premier League unlike boring Mark-Mr-Grey-John-Majors-Lovechild-Hughes

Doubtless the tax man will come sniffing around soon looking for improprieties somewhere

Gutted for Leslie TBH. I was really hoping he'd manage a few years of battling midfield mediocrity and land the scum job after fergie goes/dies. I suppose there's always steve bruce or roy keane.

So United will face a QPR with no manager while we face a Chelsea with a new manager who has had days to train with the players. Figures, same thing happened with Sunderland/O'Neill last season. Another of those small easy to overlook strokes of luck the rags seem to get every season.

Fook off to League One you charlatan Hughes.

Harry is a Norwegian derogatory term used in slang, derived from the English name Harry.[1] The best English translation may be "cheesy" or "tacky". Norsk ordbok defines "harry" as "tasteless, vulgar".[2]

A person who is harry is often perceived as unsophisticated, vulgar or with bad taste.[1][2][3] The effect of bad taste is often characterized with the term harry, e.g. a harry dress or a harry car. Since the definition of good and bad taste is defined by fashion, there is no precise definition of harry. D.D.E., Sputnik, shopping in Sweden, Raggare culture and mullets are often mentioned today. In the 1970s it was the 1960s' hairwax or sharp shoes that were harry. In the 1980s the 1970s' flared pants or whiskers, and in the 1990s more or less everything that could be associated with the 1980s. Yesterday's fashion will often be interpreted as harry. Often what is harry in one period can be hip retro fashion the next year.

It's so bizarre how badly he's done. Did a great job at Blackburn and solid enough at Fulham, two similar kind of clubs. But at QPR it really does look like 11 men on a pitch, not a team. No surprise he's gone I just wonder if whoever replaces him can get it going. They're not that far behind the pack despite not winning yet.
