Hughes To Be Sacked [Merged]

I don't think he's being sacked.

Contract extention and Gary Cooke putting all rumours to bed.

Why the fuck would he get a contract extension? And why was he waving goodbye after the game and looked resigned to whatever the statement at 7:30 is about?
 
I don't claim to be itk, but I've been told the owners told Hughes on Thursday that he was going to be let go but would be stay on till the end of the month. Hughes basically told them to fuck off and almost refused to turn up today hence the reason the owners are now acting so fast. Like I said, pinch of salt

I've made no secret that I want him gone however whoever leaked this information (not the lads on the forum, the one from within the club) needs to be sacked. Utter gash, feel sorry for the way Hughes has had to go. I've wanted him gone for a while but not like this, no problem with it being mid-season and I'm chuffed that's it's going to be before January but leaking it out like this to every fucker under the sun before a game shows total disrespect and humiliation towards Hughes.
 
I've always leant towards Hughes not being the man for us, but was willing to give him time to see what he could do, but if we what we are hearing about him being sacked is true, its a disgrace how its all being handled.
 
disgusted tonight, ive been a Hughes inner up until 4-5 weeks where patience has really been tested, but the way this has been handled is a disgrace, announcing things like a press conf whilst we are playing is unacceptable. If this is the type of people that are running our club then this is not good news.
 
I'm not a 'Hughes Inner' or a 'Hughes Outer' - I'm a fan of MCFC.

I'm dissapointed that this season, when the Sky 4 are looking more vulnerable than ever, we haven't been able to take full advantage.

Would a 'Top-Class Manager' have taken advantage? - Probably
Is Mark Hughes a 'Top-Class Manager'? - Probably not
Is Mancini a 'Top-Class Manager'? - his record suggests he MAY be

So, if MH goes and is replaced by Mancini, this should be a step in the right direction for MY club.

However, as someone who probably isn't 'Top-Class' in what I do for a living, my respect for Hughes is high. At all times he has acted with dignity and given the impression that he cares and is giving 100%. I hope if he goes, it is because he has resigned of his own accord and wish him well for the future.

Whatever happens, I hope we as fans can move on TOGETHER and stuff those Red Bastards in the semi's before securing a top 4 finish.

Embarrassing behaviour. It didn't take long to start pandering to the gloryhunters did it. Just proves that money doesn't always buy you class.

But, he got us some of the best players I've seen for us in ages....Bellers, Tevers and Givers

Gave our youth plenty of chances even when playing like donkeys...Richards, Ireland...

Had the courage to drop wasters like Ade and Robinho and use players that play 101% for us today

I guess he has to go...doesn't he.

For all the money we have lost out soul...............all that glitters is NOT gold!!!
