Although I don't agree with the bringing him on the pitch and firing him sentiments it did amuse me a little and I pictured Sugar coming on the pitch after the Spuds game and giving Hughes his "you're fired" line.

More happy than sad if he does get the chop although I would wish him all the best and no hard feelings, I think he just got the job at the wrong stage in his career I think he needs one or two more clubs worth of experience before he got a job like this (well a job at a club with our new resources and expectations).

One of his mistakes has been paying well over the odds for Lescott, RSC and Adebayor. All are mid-table players who should have cost 50% of what we paid for them. He also has poor man management skills especially where handling the star players is concerned. At least he has learned not to sit on his ass throughout the game. Otherwise, he has done a reasonable job and does not deserve our abuse.
