He's never relegated a team. Redknapp was in charge of QPR when they went down and had been for over half a season.

Hughes laid the foundation for that relegation with all the shite he brought in on ridiculous wages. Kia the Snake made a nice wedge out of QPR. Funny that his name keeps popping up wherever Hughes goes.

How? Neil Warnock had them doing very little before Hughes came in and kept them up with a series of home wins. Redknapp knew they needed goals and failed to sign anyone to do the job. QPR have pushed the self destruct button for years and continually sacked Managers. His departure was nothing new. I know they had a terrible start but I still think Hughes could've kept them up. His teams are often hard to beat.

He left Blackburn in 7th, City in 6th and Fulham in 8th. As long as Stoke don't give him money he doesn't always spend wisely then I think it's a good appointment.

If Hughes had never managed City then I guarantee many on here would view him fairly.

Warnock wad hard done too. The club was in limbo during promotion season when they were sold. Targets were put on ice and went elsewhere and they did a 9.40pm shop before the supermarket closed at 10pm. They paid dearly for players who weren't ideal for their neefs. Warnock built a team that got up and was sacked for Hughes who at the time was seen as a good swap. Hughes not totally to blame as Fernandes was like a horny teenager dosed up on viagra and wandering around the Red-Lights of Amsterdam with a wedge to burn in his tail.

While obviously he has limitations,i still believe Hughes did a decent job and got more shit than he deserved here.

Hughes did a decent job but Mancini was shite? Hughes should have been giving a decent pay off when we got took over because it was fucking obvious he would be out his depth. Which he was. The money he spent. His tactics. His shite man management. I believe that managers should be giving a chance but I wanted Hughes out from the take over. Not because he's a rag but because he's a fucking shite manager.

Neither were shite, both played a part in our development and both, having given their best, were replaced at the right time.

Hughes wasn't half as bad as you make out,one or two of his signings are still instrumental in our success and his man management was certainly no worse than Mancini's.

You'd also have to ask yourself, how many fans of Hughes's old clubs were disappointed when he left? Probably not too many.

Given the fact the vast majority of managers are sacked for underperforming, thats hardly a bench mark.

If the chairman was pissed at having to give Pulis cash, he isn't going to like how much clueless and his mate Joorabchian are going to take off him.

How the fuck these clown keep getting jobs like this is beyond me!

Gonna be confirmed today according to John Cross at Mirror

I wonder if the press pack will give him the 3rd degree like they did with Mancini. By all accounts this has been lined up weeks ago while Pulis was still in his job. Does Hughes know Roque Santa Cruz is out of contract next month ?

Drawing at home to Burnley and Hull, spending 100 million to finish 2 places lower than last season. Playing Robinho in front of Slyvinho against Aaron Lennon. Not offering Sturridge a contract that his talents and potential deserved. Playing Ched Evans before Sturridge. His shite away record. Not giving Elano a chance. The only positive is he got 2 bargains in Zaba and Kompany but Tevez and Barry were no brainers.

Yep,all reasons that contributed to his dismissal.
