They are slow Larsson is rapid. Larsson is similar to Marmoush or Sane in pace.

We are missing this season, two creative players behind the striker. Treble season we had Kev and Gundo and Haaland hit record numbers. This season we’ve struggled. If we get Wirtz then he will replace Kev.

But I also think that Wharton or Hugo will take the Gundo role. Wharton isn’t a six he produces the most through balls at Crystal Palace. He definitely can be a 8. Look at his play style he plays through balls for fun to Eze and Mateta.

Hugo is the same saw a stat that he’s not far behind Wirtz in the Bundesliga for through balls. And opportunities created.

I think the other thing we need to do is load the box more with attackers. We seem to have just left it to Haaland. That’s why the midfield goal numbers are so low.

We did it more vs Leicester, but they’re so bad that we could do it anyway. Let’s see if we do the same at the swamp tomorrow.

Wharton and Larsson seem to be 6/8 hybrids more than 8/10 ones. I’d pick Wharton first simply because of our need for Association Trained players.

That’s true feel like we have wingers that want to create an opportunity but don’t want to shoot in the box. The one that does in Savinho is still learning how to finish. Foden seems the player that wants to be in the box to finish chances.

I’d take Wharton as he’s homegrown but he’s going to cost a lot of money. Palace won’t want to sell either.

Larsson does like to shoot as well he has scored a few from outside the box both for Malmö and Framlfirt. His goals are either that or late run into the box/running beyond the striker.

There is a reason Real, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and Milan are interested. The guy is younger than O’Reilly and has done a fair bit more.

you are right my bad . The point I was making is he is very young and has done a lot at this age. You just have to look at someone like Morgan Rogers to see where he was or KdB etc this age.

Central midfield is tough position to play in and he does well already for a top team. Wharton is in a similar spot and is developing quickly as well.

His passing is great and really underrated. People think of him as a 6/8 hybrid like Kov but he’s more of an out and out 8 like Gundo and could easily develop into a 8/10 in my opinion.

Wharton is great on the ball. We certainly need players that can break the line with a pass. We have electric pace with not much output because they are always having to beat the player and create the angle, if we had players playing through balls/over the top and Savio and Doku running on in the clear they could easily score more.

Larsson hasn’t been there long and they paid a decent fee with sell on. I think it would cost the same as Wharton to get him out of Frankfurt.

Frankfurt’s model is to flip after a few years. He will cost less than Wharton. The english premium and pl clubs tryin to screw us always drives up the prices.
 
How did he get on tonight? I have watched him a couple of times and granted thats not a big sample size but he’s never made me think get this kid in.

He played as I thought he always was.

He is good defensively and did some nice passes.

But he is no chance creator or goal threat.

Far more of a 6, with sprinkles of an 8.

With Rodri and Nico G, im not sure we need that.

I want someone more Pedri like, or old Gundogan, a pure 8. Or a 8/10 hybrid.

Oh they will always sell but they waited and got their fee with Marmoush. Same with Leipzig and Josko.

These teams sell but won’t let you take the piss out of them. United and Chelsea have been doing that to teams for years.
