Is Hulk about to turn Blue?


Big-spending Manchester City have sent scouts to check on Porto’s Brazilian striker Hulk.

The Brazilian international has been in brilliant form this season and scored twice in a 5-0 win over Benfica in front of City scouts on Sunday.

Hulk, who has scored nine goals this season and has twice been the Portuguese League’s Player of the Month, said: “I have heard about the rumours of the Premier League, but I am focused on my work here.”

He looks good but the portugese league is pretty shit.
I would rather have Dzeko or Torres but wouldnt complain if we signed him as a back up for Balotelli and Tevez

He seems a decent player, better than RSC and Jo at least. Would be a good backup signing but if we still want a top forward in the Dzeko mold then we can do better.

This article makes a good point about the role Tevez plays for us, we could really do with someone else who can fill in for him, give him a rest. I think Hulk is a similar kind of player.
