yes its dear, yes its a disgrace, but dont take it out on the players. write to an MP or something.
I honestly believe the players would be behind a boycott.

Look at it long term, in another ten years when individual match tickets are £90/100, £120+ for some of the bigger or London clubs, and our SeasonCards cost £1300 (keep adding £65 a year like they have in the last two and it'll be more than that!) loads of us would be long gone from this sport. I'm on the edge now!

The players would be more bothered about consistent lower away attendances than one boycott.

Plus, for me i don't think we should boycott one match on our own. It should be an organised weekend when no fans attend any games across the whole Premier League. I think it's got to the point where it's serious enough to do this.

In the last ten years, i've gone from going to every single home and away with a huge group of mates and also having loads of family members have SeasonCards...to now going to four or five away games, sometimes on my own, even on home games now there are sometimes as few as three of us, and all my family members have given their tickets up.

And i don't think it's about supporting the players, football is about the fans not the players. They are there to entertain us, to give us a relief from our working life. We aren't there to be used as a cash cow.

Its all about balance... We need to pay decent wages and fees to bring in the best players and thus Fans costs were always going to increase, however they cannot keep adding and adding on as eventually there comes a point were the bubble bursts, thats why we need the balance for all parties, if fans just sit back and do nothing then they will continually up the ante, by doing something now it could reap rewards for everyone in the future.

I completely disagree with the first part, I keep saying this success does not mean they should charge high prices. Bayern one of the most successful clubs in the world charge barely anything , yet they manage to be successful , ticket revenue is barely a weeks wage for Scott Sinclair. The club don't have to charge high prices it's just greed

We can't criticise anyone with the rip off prices we charge!

If you don't like it, don't go. It's that simple.

Exactly this.

Also, Hull are continuing what they did last season. Agreeing prices with other clubs, we will charge you less if you charge us less. Obviously City have yet again refused to agree to such deals. So we all lose out!

and there are 1000s like you, supporting every club up and down the land, which is why a boycott of rip-off football in the UK can currently never happen

i know, good innit.

We charge away fans more than that!

It all stinks. From the posh London clubs, to Bolton charging us £45 ten years ago, to Hull in this example and our own club too.

The price for Hull stinks, but so did the price we charged West Brom fans last year and it was a Monday night game on Sky.

And it's not just ripping away fans off neither. My SC is 141% the price it was five years ago, it's increased £130 in the last two seasons. I think this might be my last ever season because I just can't afford it anymore. Either that or in just going to have to sack off all cup and away games. Ten years ago I used to go to every single home and away

Football clubs haven't got a clue how to treat their loyal fans! They just think we're a cash cow to milk money from and as soon as they can't milk any more from us they will direct their attention to a richer customer. They would not care one jot if I have my SC up next year.

There should be an organised weekend across the Premier League where all fans of all clubs say "right, that weekend we will not attend any games anywhere in the country" and do a mass boycott as a statement that we aren't happy about the prices.

The clubs can't even give us the sob story of FFPR neither because it's been getting ridiculous for about a decade (my Bolton away example above was just one of many) plus ticket money is only a small percentage of revenue. For example, the £65 they've banged on our SCs this year only comes to a combined total of £2.28m. The club shit that out in wages every few days. It's fuck all to the club, but it's huge to me and you!

We need to do something it's getting beyond a joke!

The so-called Bolton boycott was never organised properly and was £28 lower and £36 upper. Those who publicised a boycott just got the club to take the upper tier so fans had to pay the £8 more. This happened for several seasons with the top tier having to sell before the lower sold.

The game to boycott would have been Arsenal at £64 rather than subsidise it Unless supporters clubs refuse an allocation they will already be sold before they go on the website.

Bayern Munchen's charging young kids £32 in the cheap seats isn't the best example.

What a shite comment and a ridiculous previous statement. Trying to appear to be one of the world's biggest blues and "a top WUM lolz" in same discussion. Nice going.

Apart from the fact that issues like this are actually really important to a lot of people, seriously jeopardising an activity that in some cases has lasted decades or even generations of the same families, and such a discussion is not an appropriate place to be acting like a nob (imo, obviously)

Why should they not charge £50? we do every prem club will try to rip the uk public for evry penny

Sat in east stand against stoke with rain coming through a fuck*ng big gap and charged £70 more than last season for my season ticket

I couldn't agree more , 50 quid seems to be the going rate -give or take a couple of quid - I am looking to take my son who is 10 with the train fare - and I only live 25 miles out of hull is going to cost me 95 quid without any drinks or food FFS !

That's sad !

as we are taking a mini bus to hull, would you like to join us on the bus, charge you £10 for you and boy

I know...
Let's boycott a relatively easy to get to away game with 3.00 PM kick off time on a Saturday afternoon...
The we can whine about not having enough loyalty points when the big games come around...
Well done.

Cheeky fuckers.

Sick of shit clubs taking the piss out of us - Bolton did it, the rags are doing it...........
