City players responded and proved their critics wrong (including me).

I can see where you're coming from Marv, but I wouldn't go quite that far to be honest!!

It was certainly vital after the week we have had. I think Marvin was extremely concerned and rightly so that we might not get anything form this game so soon after Bara.

Silva was just class today. MP was very smart as he had him stay forward most of the game, so he could spend less energy defending and more on retaining the ball.

Some credit also to Nasri and Dzeko who increased their own defensive duties. Nasri must've run about 20 miles.

Then obviously massive credit to defenders. Javi, Demi, and Fernandinho in particular. Fantastic!

Everyone who has been slating recent performances better be in here expressing some massive pride for the performance today!

Did you watch the game. David was MOTM as not only is his technical ability and football brain beyond doubt,
but his DEFENSIVE performance was outstanding.

Cops did their job so hopefully a few banning orders on the way just before their Wembley game! Twats.

I think Pellegrini might be learning that away in the premier league you have to play one striker and keep it tight.With Ya ya,Silver,Nasri we are always going to create chances and if we are clinical score goals.Winning the battle and being resolute has to be done first.

A huge win now lets hope we get some of our injured players fit soon to boost the run in even more.

So, one game ban for Vinny?
Seems to get the bad decisions, clear foul on Vinny, apart from that I thought Mason was ok, didn't fall for the dive, and rightly booked him.
Hull were dire for the most part, you'd think they were the ones with 10 men and a midweek game under their belts.
Great defensive performance from a makeshift back 4, to catch Hull offside so many times was either genius on our part, or ineptitude on Hull's

Have you and everyone else, who keep saying Hull were dire, asked yourselves why.

He did his defensive duties today, to be fair he doesn't shirk at getting stuck in for a wee lad.a lot of positives today.

Edin must have got out of breath shaking hands.
Delighted with his goal though.

Come on give the guy a break. He ran backwards and forwards across the line, closing players down
and causing them to rush passes. Wasn't that dynamic, but added greatly to the team dynamic by
defending from the front.

All the superlatives don't do justice to this magician David "110%"Silva the words world class are often overused but this guy really is in the top 10 in the world a committed, heart on sleeve grafter with skill to spare to be down to 10 men for over 80 minutes and win comfortably is a performance to match any this season and a bonus to lose Vinny just for 1 game at home to Fulham means it shouldn't hurt us and will give Vinny a well earned rest as he will be a very important player for us in the tougher run in games to come - Good day all round really nice Chelsea defeat later would be the cherry on top or am I just being greedy ha ha ha lol ?
