Vinnie though; he could well be looking at a further game ban if he did indeed gesture at the fourth official. Surprised and disappointed in him if that turns out to be the case. Whatever grievance he may have justifiably felt about the red card, you just can't go making gestures at the match officials. We slag off Rooney for effing and blinding at refs during games, so we can't really be hypocritical when our captain acts inappropriately.JoeMercer'sWay said:we do seem to have an inability to keep our cool though, that's potentially (if the FA decide to punish us) 3 equivalents to a red card in 4 days.
I think the London and Scouse media will push for those 2 to get 3 or 4 game bans to derail us to ensure their favourites get the title.
We can't give them these opportunities, we have to grow up and behave and rise above it. We have to be flawless on and off the pitch at all times, because the status quo want to derail us at every possible turn, and we make it easy for them sometimes.
No Hart or Vinnie for Arsenal and Rags would be a hammer blow.
We do have a few hotheads in our team. You can understand them getting the hump with such shit refereeing most weeks, but they are only damaging the teams chances running up to refs, screaming in their faces or constantly banging the ball down and moaning as Ya Ya does a lot.
