Human extinction.

Scientists reckon that human beings in one form or another (albeit probably quite primeval and wayne Rooney-esque) have been around for about half a million years. Nature has thrown everything in it's arsenal at us up until now and we've survived so there's no reason to believe that we can't go on in some capacity for millions more years. The only thing that could wipe us out completely would be a meteor hitting the planet. Nuclear war could've put a significant dent in the population if it had broken out in the back end of the cold war, but there will always be far out of the way places like far Northern Europe or deepest Africa that wouldn't have been affected.

The Earth would be a better place without us Im afraid to say.. we are ravaging the planet like parasites..

mother nature will fook us off one day.

"Mother nature" will do no such thing. Humans are part of the natural process on this planet, nature will adapt to us, and we will have to adapt to make better use of nature.

Well nature is adapting to us by killing off the bees and the plankton..when they go ,we go..

When you look at the environmental, political and economic problems that are mounting up, I'd say any self respecting bookie would have changed the survival odds quite substantially over the last 20 years.

Very simplistic and untrue.

Im basing what I posted on truths and concerns in the scientific community, what is simplistic and untrue in what I posted??.

Nature is simple bud.. it works or it doesnt..

OK show me the peer reviwed abstracts saying bees and plankton are headed for an extinction event.

As for the last bit "Nature is simple bud.. it works or it doesnt", very glib but what does it actually mean? We are part of nature and nature always works. 99% of species that have existed, are now extinct. Nature worked (or not) for them. Why should we be any different?

maybe we will soon find out how Mars lost it's atmosphere, and if it could happen to Earth. The Green Party will blame car drivers o.c.
I imagine by 4b A.D. we will have been there, done that got the space-suit and lost the will to exist. The privatised space industry will be forced to accommodate steerage class of course but only if the peasants are sterilized, fair enough according to the daily galactic mail.
By then the Leveson and Hillsborough findings will be almost ready, but the 9/11 and David Kelly cases are still some way off, awaiting fresh new evidence
Obadia Blatter, distant kin of the great man will be the universe's first squillionaire after the planets in Alpha Centauri voted him a wage rise, for his work in establishing football for beings who only exist in plasma holograms. The stout chaps of the E.F.A were forced to withdraw their concerns after being bombarded with inter-stellar brown envelopes .
