Not been at school since xmas
The plot thickens
School? He's three years of age! How early do they start them, north of the border?
I mean nursery school
Didn't even have them when I was a youngster. Anyone checked under the floorboards, yet?

Re: Hunt for missing 3 year old in Edinburgh

A police spokesman has just been on the radio saying that they have not discounted the possibility that the missing toddler was the victim of a criminal act.
It must be those incredible powers of insight and deduction that make climbing the ranks to the dizzying heights of detective chief constable possible.

Wouldn't the nursery have been closed over Xmas/New Year anyway?
At most he has(if true) he problably missed a week and a half and if he had 'a cold' as a previous poster posted he wouldn't have gone due to sickness.

It might sound dodgy, it might be dodgy but there can also be innocent explainations

It just doesn't sound right at all now does it ? Especially now people are saying he Hasn't been to nursery since before Xmas

Harsh, NF.

This was a team effort, not just one detective

Re: Hunt for missing 3 year old in Edinburgh

I just realised he 'was missed' on Thursday morning. I thought it was this morning. I wonder why it took 24 hours to get the alert out. I mean, a toddler gone missing is a lot more urgent than an adolescent gone missing.

The alert went out yesterday morning and has been all over the news since then

Seems like they're not quite sure when he was last seen by someone outside the family. You do start to think when you hear that.

Interesting. Sky News website says.

Police investigating the disappearance of three-year-old Mikaeel Kular say he may have gone missing after a "criminal act".
Being the victim of a criminal act is not the same as going missing after a criminal act. Or is it? Time will tell. I really hope some member of the family is holding him and nothing more sinister.

-- 17 Jan 2014, 18:26 --
