Hunt for missing 3 year old (Body Found)

This story is really sad, but I really want to know why? Why kill him, but leave the others be? What sick and twisted thoughts must she have had to choose to kill ONE child?

(If indeed this is proven)

I would not have thought she was acting rationally.

Perhaps she killed him in a fit of rage or in the midst of a depressive episode.

Not trying to excuse her - I would just be surprised if she killed him in any pre-meditated manner.

Its so sad. I really cant watch the news these days as stories like this bring me to tears.
RIP little fella

According to the one of the tabloids it was the fault of the social workers. So there you have it folks,a child gets murdered by one of its parents, blame the social workers.Win,win.

I've never understood this blame culture we live in. I could understand if social services have missed vital signs of child abuse on numerous occasions that they should be held accountable. However for a parent, especially a mother to harm their children must go against every maternal instinct. These low life scum who harm their children are 100% to blame.

Exactly what I was getting at.Apologies for the sarcasm. It's always someones fucking fault nowadays.100% the parents,no excuses whatsoever

Has she being charged with murder though?

The only actual quotes I've seen from police, say a woman has being arrested in connection with the death.

It seems certain even from the little we know that she was involved in the death/ removal of body. But it's a big leap to automatically assume that means she murdered him.

I presume it's just a holding offence to keep her in custody until such time as the forensic pathologists do their stuff and ascertain cause of death, and whether or not there is a substantive case to press charges.
If so, then she will be in court, and this thread will instantly mutate into a death penalty one as if by osmosis.
