Hurling on Sky

By the way @One Fan Clapping, I hope you're not expecting the football to be played at the same ferocious pace as the hurling. It will seem pedestrian in comparison. Hurling is seen by many as the fastest field sport in the world.

And Galway will be manic next Sunday, if they beat Armagh. AND the Galway races to follow, starting the day after!
And The Saw Doctors at the International Arts Festival just after the football!

Loved the hurling. Pubs were bouncing. Was in Cork this morning and red and white everywhere.

I live about 5 minutes drive from said road. Though about an hour from Tuam, where the Saw Doctors hail from.
We’re all the way from Tuam…

We’re travelling up the coast but our last stop is Roundstone, Galway so not as far as Mayo.

Love the north especially Connemara.

The road over the Caha pass on the Cork/Kerry border was interesting (scary) in the mist!

On the two nice days we get in the summer, Connemara is stunning. Try and get over to the Aran Islands as well.
