Hurricane Ian hit Florida Wednesday 28th Sep !

I sincerely hope the forecast on that map is accurate - swinging out west of Fort Myers and Tampa and coming in further north.
If that's the case it'll be strong winds and lots of rain.
Looks like the Panhandle could get the brunt of it.
Problem is every forecast is different and they change by the hour.
Yeah, the spaghetti models always look a bit gnarly.

It was nice knowing you all......
I've got 5 days left on Blue Moon and to listen to The Smiths & Morrissey.....
Petrol stations are emptying fast so heading north isn't an option (and where do I go anyway?) So just going to rough it out....
Been in Florida 7 years and this looks like the biggest hurricane to hit since then.....

This is the last thread I will ever start.....
To you all...... the pleasure, the privilage was mine......
Last visit from the spelling police.
Privilege.

and when your shed ends up in Canada...
I'll get @Barcon to round everything up for.me.

Just saw this bit in the link @SebastianBlue sent

"Some evacuations were ordered Monday in coastal Hillsborough County, home to Tampa"

I'm in Hillsborough county but about 30 miles from the Hillsborough's coast (which is all inland on the bay) and a further 10 from the actual Gulf Coast,

You better hope your shed doesn’t end up in my backyard!

Several forecasters are now saying it could be a Category 4 by the time it makes landfall!

Just heading to Orlando airport from Clearwater, quite busy, I think a few people are heading out of the State @Mad Eyed Screamer called in at Ybor, think that’s in your home county, had lunch in Gustav’s Garrison, fascinating little town.
