It makes up 6 of the 7 IPSO justifications for public interest, the other being serious impropriety or incompetence towards the public, which this doesn't come under (Huw Edwards wasn't doing anything to the public at large)

Like I say I am not defending the Sun - far from it, all I am doing is highlighting what I consider to be the BBC's ineptitude.

You haven't highlighted any ineptitude from the BBC at any point though.

In fact, all things considered the BBC didn't put a foot wrong, other than they devoted far too much coverage to it in a week dominated by much bigger news.

You haven't highlighted any ineptitude from the BBC at any point though.

I consider not dealing with it when you have someone of of his stature being accused and them not raising the red flag to be a pretty poor show. Maybe we'll have to agree to differ on that.
