It’s a very sad situation for him personally, of course it is and I wish him and his family all the best in what is a very difficult time.
What I have found mildly amusing is the amount of private sites who stopped all talk of it, yet on Social Media the knowledge was widespread.
Christ it was even being discussed openly on Mums Net but taboo on here.
Come on, there was no one on here surely who was surprised at the name when it was announced this evening.
There is no such thing as anonymity with the internet. When the next one comes along as it surely will, just look on some of the Foreign newspaper sites if you want to know the culprit

Don't even think you need that. Just an open mind until the facts are actually in the public domain.
At the very least he should have a right of reply until judged.

Hes not saying anything, his wife has said he’s had an episode and is currently in hospital which is why she released the statement on his behalf.

Why people are talking about it is as it currently stands the Sun have printed an article that has led to the alleged victim denying it happened, the met police getting involved and finding there’s no crime and the accused being subjected to five days of scrutiny of who he is and subsequently ending up in hospital.

It’s a private story that one of our biggest newspapers chose to make public regardless of the impacts on anyone involved.

But for some, it’s just juicy goss so all’s well with the world…

Fact is that some people will believe anything they read in that shit stain of a rag. For all the questions the BBC has faced on this - and for me they’ve not exactly covered themselves in glory - it’s time questions were asked of The Sun too because it’s becoming more and more apparent that they’ve exaggerated the facts at best, and at worst they’ve lied like fuck.
