He‘ll never accept it but the metalwork and measurements match one of Hyde Rd’s other roofs that survived as a factory in Sale (since demolished).This fact is refuted by the Halifax Town Historian. He told me there was no proof whatsoever this was the case. I know Gary James was looking into it at some point.
FA Cup 7th March 1914 if I’ve googled correctly. Finished 0-0. Went to their place a few days later and ended 0-0 in the first replay. Lost to a solitary goal in the second replay at Villa Park on the 16th. 4th round was a quarter final in those days.Sorry if this is already posted.
