As much as I hate to see any club go to the wall, haven't they commited some quite serious fraud, by deducting paye payments and not passing them on to the hmrc?

We gave a mere 80odd p as it was the only change we had.

If any fraud has been committed, it wasn't the players or the fans that did it, it was one or two directors. They should pay, the club shouldn't be killed because of it.

The comments on the Hyde United fans' website are full of praise for City and City fans. Hyde United FC and their fans will remember the goodwill of City and City fans for many many years to come.

£7800 may well be the difference between survival and closure of a football club so I think that it shows that in times of economic hardship for so many people that there is a lot of goodwill amongst football fans.

Football fans often come in for criticism in the national media so it would be nice if good news stories like this were also highlighted, all in the name of balance.

was that leathered last night i dont even know what i donated, just remember emptying everything that was in my pocket into the bucket. all for a good cause though.
