what about a set of house keys and half packet of chewing gum. i kid you not.

I put my fiver in on my way through the gates...

I used to work with a chap called James who is the Chairman of Hyde Utds official supporters club so I know first hand how much hard work goes on behind the scenes at Hyde and how many hours he puts in voluntarily for the cause.

At one point we even had ChannelM in our office interviewing him for a fund raising campaign!

As a massive Hyde United supporter who follows them home and away through thick and thin, the winding up order hurt me and led to a few sleepless nights, and the news that we'd been saved made my year. No-one should have to see the club they love go through that.

I came on here to offer my own personal thanks to you, the Manchester City fans, who contributed to our collection. You are a credit to your club, to football as a whole, and to this superb city that we live in. I can assure you that City fans will be welcome at Ewen Fields anytime you feel like visiting. Thank you once again, I cannot say it enough!

Real shame. I used to watch the likes of Oghani, O'Connor, Yeo, Paul Taylor, Hulse etc..

I have very little knowledge about Hyde's financial management over the years, but I always wondered why they didn't have more cash. After all you had reserve teams playing at Ewen Fields and the crowds for home games were always pretty decent.

Maybe David Pace can advise Hyde's board on how to raise money quickly ;)

i gave them fuck all and will continue to do so unless they drop the last part of their name.

Doesn't make the slightest sense to me to come to MCFC, whether it's Hyde United or Bollox United, AND wearing red shirts. It didn't sit easily with me, and what if you had an affinity with New Mills?

Same with British Heart Foundation. I keep telling Big George Wrestler that he'd get more if he came with blue money boxes.
