Winning the cup.

Under Pearce I'd have taken relegation if we won the FA Cup.

It is a short term attitude but I think it would be nice to win something now with lots of our academy players involved and players like Dunney who have been here a long time.

As to the question.....WIN THE CUP! Anyone remember the last time we won a European trophy? What about our position in the league even 10 years ago?!ANd what league was that??!!!!!

It would make a statement around europe, because to win it we would be seen as better and bigger than the likes of AC Milan. Not that I'm bitter but I think we owe them one.

Cup of course, UEFA Cup winners qualify for next seasons Champions League, Zenit SP won it last year and only finished 12th or so in the russian league, and they were in UCL this season

i like hypothetical questions-they are my stock in trade (eg would you rather have a 3 in the bed with Paris hilton & Danni Minogue or Beyonce on her own) but to me that seems a silly one, win a cup and finish 7th or finish one place higher? Win a cup, it's the one thing that keeps me going, the thought of us winning a cup-how happy i'd be and the reaction of the swamp dwellers that the only thing they've got to batter us with is gone, and the gap in their ground where their "not bitter or obsessed by you at all" flag is.
