I am voting Labour next ....talk me out of it.

I dread to think what will happen if the Tories win again. They will think they are completely invincible if they win and that will be very bad news.
Complete dismantlement of all services, leaving the majority in disarray and a complete change to British society.

It won’t happen though, people aren’t that daft.

Seriously, what do people want?

You get a privileged, public schoolboy, people say what the fuck does he know about ordinary people?

You get a Labour guy who has worked his way up through the system through hard work. People say, fucking champagne socialist, what does he know about ordinary people?

You get a woman off a rough council estate who has seen life but is abrasive. People say, she's up herself and arrogant.

How do you want to recruit our leaders? Random conscription? Because it's pretty obvious you have to be a bit 'special' to go through all the shit these people do to achieve power. No 'normal' person would ever step on the treadmill.

As an aside, I know someone who had dealings with Angela Raynor about a voluntary sector project and found her supportive and helpful. But my guess is every MP has someone who would say that, and someone else who would call them a useless cnut.

It’s already being talked about in the upper classes of society “nursing in your own home“ is back to the 18th century together with working for low pay, long hours, we are not far short of that now.
Food banks, warm banks and nurse at home, send immigrants to Rwanda won’t be long before we send all our undesirables
along with them.
Some people are daft enough to think they know it won’t happen we are wrong to warn of the way society is going but the people it will affect are too disenfranchised to vote.

I won't be voting for labour for the second time in my life next GE and will be voting Green.

As the labour party does not represent me at present.

my costituency has a 20 odd thousand Lab majority so I won't affect the result, but my conscience would be clear.

In swing seats though a vote that removes a tory for labour I would encourage as unfortunately starmers party is a better option than another tory term.

What we need is nationwide personality profiling and a highly effective algorithm :)
