Oh and for what it's worth(and no disrespect to the opinions about this subject) I'm pretty sick to death of hearing about the 'constant changing of manager not being good for the club' malarkey.
You know why?
Because in previous times we've been operating on shoestring budgets, trying to get the best man for the job, based on those constraints. WE ARE NO LONGER IN NEED FOR SUCH MEASURES!
So, whilst the fact remains that we HAVE been guilty of changing managers(and I cannot deny such evidence), the reasons behind such things are outmoded and outdated when applying such thoughts to the club as it is now.
I truly don't know if a lot of the opinions about managers are limited because those opinions are limited to what is just the Prem league. It is truly shocking to believe that there are those who believe he is the best man for the job, whilst dismissing the obvious credentials of candidates(other than Saviour José!) beyond these shores!
I constantly read that people can 'see what Hughes is trying to do'!! I consider myself quite capable of seeing what managers are trying to do on a pitch by analysing the shape, drop offs, substitutions and re-jigging of formation to cover opposing players... But, I don't see that with Hughes. All I see is him trying will his style of play on the opposition, constantly, which has been the downfall of the season! No re-jigging, no repositioning of players during play, same shape come hell or high water.
It's tiring to see.
Still, if people think that way is the best way forward, well, more of the same next year, it will be...
