i blame tevez

Thought Tevez did ok

i blame ADI, because of his sulking attitude we have no options up front - for pity sake Everton must have shit themselves (laughing) when Joe came on

just got in so not read much of the board tonight, but have to agree with the op, that was our so called captain that put us thru crap this week. so what have we done, given a big paycheck to him, bet the players really loved that, i would'nt have played him, and as for milner, how does he warrent a place in the side.

also, balotelli, is he another robiniho, strolls around shrugging his shoulders, again we have a team of ten men, however, well done zab another good performance even if they did try to put you out of the game, got up and got on with it.

no way he should be captain after the last couple of weeks poisonous merc

get Dzeko in to put some pressure on the strikers especially now its obvious Ade is going

busy but played far too deep again tonight imo

wonder if Roberto told him to play there?

Tevez is to blame only so far as he's not tall enough to be our "man in the middle" striker. That's it. He works hard, he scores goals despite certain vertical deficiencies and more often then not he comes through for us.

We do need someone who can work in the box and score a goal with his head, someone who can take advantage of the wonderful service our people can provide, Tevez included. That does not make it Tevez's fault, despite an occasional bout of greediness. That just makes it a situation we have to deal with in January.

he was anonymous tonight, the bloody idiot, why did he do that, and then change his mind, he completely destabilised us, what a tosser, no way back for that turncoat!
What a dick! Tev was the only player to show any passion tonight and had it not been for him we wouldnt have been in the position to go top tonight(missed again)

Hey why dont we just f**k Tev off and play RSC and Jo upfront, see how much you have to complain about then..............................

we had a great fucking win last week (without him) and went joint top, then he dropped his bombshell on us and fucked us up, who's the fucking dick, he wants shooting tbh
we lost tonight because of the crap he caused with his pointless bleating !!

I don't agree with people that say Tevez was crap tonight. He wasn't at all. Everton's tactics were superb. They played their midfield line VERY close to their defensive line, often overlapping the two. When we've played well this season, it's been because Tevez and Silva have received plenty of space in between the lines. Everton decided to not allow them such space and let Milner and Barry have all the room instead. It's basic stuff, but Milner and Barry on the ball at the halfway line is far less dangerous than Tevez and Silva on the ball 25-30 yards from goal. Everton got it spot on. We need to think up a new tactic for home games as teams have sussed us out at our place. Tevez did as well as he could possibly do given the respective shape/tactics of the 2 teams.

He tried tonight, I'll give him that, but my main problem with Tevez is the needlessness of what happened this week. If you are going to withdraw the request, why make it in the first fucking place. The team, the club should have been focused on one thing only this week, winning a football game, not wondering if captain mardy arse was staying or going.
