Look at how Silva and Balo play, imagine if we can find a striker to link with them i.e Dzeko instead of the poison dwarf who shoots on sight.Pride_of_Manchester. said:Blue Smarties said:He is right though. Doesn't fit in yet he is majority of our goals for the last two season..
People on here seriously need to give their head a wobble..
We do need another striker to play with him.. that's a given and am sure Dzeko or someone will be coming in..

They played their midfield line VERY close to their defensive line, often overlapping the two. When we've played well this season, it's been because Tevez and Silva have received plenty of space in between the lines. Everton decided to not allow them such space and let Milner and Barry have all the room instead. It's basic stuff, but Milner and Barry on the ball at the halfway line is far less dangerous than Tevez and Silva on the ball 25-30 yards from goal. Everton got it spot on. We need to think up a new tactic for home games as teams have sussed us out at our place. Tevez did as well as he could possibly do given the respective shape/tactics of the 2 teams.
i thought he proved to everyone last night that he still has passion for our club....i wanted him fucked off after the transfer request but after withdrawing that request and committing to us for the remainder of the season then it's time to move onwards and upwards and not dwell upon his poor decision last week...he ran his fuckin nuts off last night and i certainly won't be holding any grudges with performances like last night, probably the main reason he has kept the captaincy is his application and ability too lead by example.....if only we had a team of players prepared to fight and scrap and close down every single ball like tevez does we'd be 10pts clear at the top now. i suggest anyone who thinks he had a shit game last night and city were shite should watch the game again coz we absolutely battered everton for 75mins of that game.....absolute domination but just have to say hats off to everton they defended really really well and got several rubs of the green. how many games against everton in the last 3 seasons have we had 70% possession and 20+ shots at goal and kept them down to 2 shots on target? some people seem to think we're going to win every game but that just isn't going to happen....sure it's a disappointing result and we were unlucky last night but that's football.the goats backside said:Cant imagine any of us were happy over his transfer request but i have read some dross on here, at one point last night he chased a player down, then the keeper , then another player, all while Mario stood still, i know which gives more to the team

He's scored about 40 goals in 60 games, you muppet!
I can't believe some of the shit on here.....
