Pep has changed tactics though, the inverted winger bollocks has pretty much gone, the Gundogan and Rodri axis has been changed with Gundog let of the leash and playing a more attacking role, these were changes many on the forum wanted to see.

6 weeks ago when we were 8 points off the scousers and playing some very dull but pragmatic football in one of the threads up here (think the caribao one) I said I didn't think we were in contention to win the league on our form.

You weren’t wrong. We wouldn’t have been in contention to win the league with our form then, we’d won 40% of our games in December, scored 19 goals by Christmas and 5 of them were in one game, and in November we had a -1 goal difference. If that form had continued all season we’d have finished about 6th... but our form changed.

Never go back and revise statements you made in the past that were right at the time but seem wrong now.
