I didn't belive it till i saw it tonight.

I used to live as close to old trafford as you can get, the amount of coaches from all corners of the country clogging up Chester road was unreal. Then there are the day tripping bell ends that would arrive hours before a game thinking they owned the fucking place, just so they could get in the mega store or buy some shit souvenir scarf. All shuffling around with an unmistakable smugness and sense of achievement as they had chosen to attach themselves to a successful club, you'd think they were the 30 goals a season striker, from this they gain their identity and to fuck with any connections to the club.

They're welcome to each other, thank fuck I'm a blue.

Great post. You've hit the nail on the head there.

The lady in reception at the premier inn we stayed at said the hotel was full of them at the weekend,we couldn't wait to get in the car and travel home.We took a bit of abuse on Friday afternoon for wearing our colors as i posted on here yesterday, but to be honest that was more from the locals.

My brother rang me yesterday and he was in Manchester, happened to mention the amount of rags walking round Manchester yesterday.Said he hadn't heard a manc accent amongst any of them lol!

As a blue who was born and bred in the South and I had to grow up with them all around me but I take satisfaction that unlike me (season ticket holder) hardly any of them have ever been north of Watford let alone anywhere near Manchester and the ones who have been usually go on a coach trip once a season. Take it from me they are all wankers and glory hunters

Yup, unfortunately I moved from Manchester when I was ten to Norfolk, and bloody hell there are as many Rags here as there are 'real' Norwich fans!

It was unbearable coming into high school after the heavy Derby defeats, especially the 5-0 (cheers Tracey!) as they are so dumb that even if you have a go at them for supporting a team from 200 miles away they don't realise how ashamed or embarrassed they should be.

i was born and bred in cheltenham(still live there) & i have been going to city for 30 years now ..The rags clog up the M6 on their home match day.My advice is never drive north to manchester on the M6 when those bastards are at home, they are like shit in a field,,EVERYWHERE!!!

GLORY HUNTING BASTARDS

I was in the The Village Hyde last night, there were 150 Norther Irish united fans in there that had come over to watch them jammy fuckers. They were exactly the same, all smug thinking that they owend the place. I was going to sing blue moon on the Kareoke but the guy wouldn't let me, so I did Don't look back in anger instead (for when they're on that ferry back on the 17th April after getting thrashed 6-0). Other than them, good night!

As a Manchester long time Red (cue loads of 'jokes' about me being the only one etc) I have no problem with people supporting our club from wherever as long as they love the club. As such as I have no problem with someone such as yorself who was 'born and bred in the South' supporting City for whatever reason you have. However it's rather ironic you join in a thread slating Utd fans who travel from down South when you do so yourself? You also say 'hardly any of them have ever been north of Watford' as though the fact you regularly travel to City is something to be proud of (which is admirable I'll admit). Rather strange in a thread criticising Utd fans for travelling in large numbers from down south?

And before you get upset, it's just a bit of fun :)

I don't think you can really give any southern City fan the "Glory Hunter" tag that applies to all the plastic cockney reds.
