Why are people ravin on about caicedo after todays game?, ok he scored a goal yeh, but for fuck sake me grandad could of scored that today, apart from the goal he did fuck all for the rest of the game and was on his arse as usual all the time, today he lost the ball 5 or 6 times thinking he had 10 minutes on the ball, his reactions are slow and he's generally a slow player, don't rate it much at all, boj upfront instead of phil everytime to me.
Say what the fuck you like but the stats don't lie.

12 starts.

7 Goals.

He's just a kid...... but he's Big Phil!

the 7 goals he has put away i could of finished everytime, so would i suddenly be amazing to everyone?, i think apart from his very very easy goals he doesn't give the team anything at all.
I think your massively underestimating him with that. He puts himself about, he knows where to put himself on the pitch to be effective (Jo take note). He's tricky as fuck to get the ball off. His ditribution is always forwads and he almost always finds his man.

IMO, and considering his age and premiership experience, he's doing the biz.

What about Van Nistelrooy? Shaun Goater? All scored goals we could score, sorry for the old cliche but you gotta be there to put em away!!!

both of them players are class aswell when their not infront of goal, phil isn't that.

i can see your points, but people will disagree with others and obviously have opinions, but today and other games i just can't see what he does for the team, he give it away so many times today and after a year he doesn't realise you don't have much time on the ball, at everton last week he was the same, i think in the summer he will be loaned out, personally i'd rather that happen.

Hmm. The Goat class outside of the box? loved the guy but no.

That's exactly the kind of player he is. He didn't hold the ball up as well as the Boj today but he put some work in with sporadically decent touches. Then he scored a four yard Linnaker special. All players are different. That's the joy of football. Whether you choose to judge players on style or results is up to you.

He knows how to score that's for sure and continues to impress - wants to play for us as well - tremendous attitude.

You clearly were facing away from the pitch as because as Boj came on for Big Phil the ball came straight back when the ball was pumped forward. how many strikers can make a Fat Sam defence scratch there heads as to how to stop a player winning or holding up the ball.

Robinho and Elena did the same- thinking they had an age on the ball - but neither were a pivotal in leading the line as Big Phil were as he was able to bring other players into the game - and still got himself on the scoresheet yet again despite your grandad being record scorer for City - get a grip with your sad cliche's - too often players swipe at balls - but he calmly placed the ball into the goal - top goalscorer!

Yes he's in a good run of form, but be serious, mate, I could have banged in 5 or 6 of the 7 he's scored. Milk turns quicker and he's rubbish in the air. Lad has good close control, first touch lets him down. Has a good eye for goal and good at finishing off. Lets see how he goes when he's a squad player next year.
