Having lived with such a thesis for 3 years myself, I know the extent of the weight that has been lifted.

Just the corrections and the viva now!

It made me into a Dr Dr !

Congratulations. I hope you get what you deserve. Never done anything like that myself, but first job was in a college looking after PhD students and i know the hard
work that goes into a thesis.

Having read and thoroughly enjoyed 'The Commonwealth of Thieves' and 'The Fatal Shore' I have developed a thirst (metaphorically speaking) for all things surrounding Early Colonial history of Australia. It would be fantastic if the fruits of your labour got into mainstream print. I'd dash out to buy it.
