I hate international week...

Why exactly hasn't there been a premier league programme this weekend?

Teams play on a sat/sun and then play Champions league the following Tues/Weds..............crazy arsed!!

Normally I hate international week, but this time wasn't so bad.

We're 2nd in table, above the Rags and the main football chat in the pub is Liverpool - how much sh*t they are in. "9 point deduction" "Another Leeds?" "Shankley would turn.." "No money, wish we had Arabs.." "Gonna get beat by Everton"

Not too bad a week after all.

Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng ruled out of Germany's Euro 2012 qualifier with Kazakhstan - report

Germany coach Joachim Loew has received some disturbing news from the treatment table in the build-up to Tuesday evening's Euro 2012 qualifier away to European minnows Kazakhstan.

According to Spiegel Online, the Germany boss will have to make do without the services of Jerome Boateng when they take on Kazakhstan in Astana.

The Manchester City defender is being plagued by a viral infection and missed Sunday's regular training session due to the illness. A report on the official DFB website now reads that Boateng has not travelled to Kazakhstan with the rest of the team.

Loew has made the decision not to call up a replacement for the former Hamburg star.

Germany currently sit first in the table in Group A of the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign. They have collected nine points from three games so far.
