I agree with the stoke fan!

They're entitled to set up their team however the fuck they like & if we can't get the 3 points against them, having spent all the money that we have, then that's our problem, not thier's!

Tony Pulis' job is to keep Stoke City in the Premier League! Not win it! Not qualify for europe, just keep them there, pure & simple! And he's making a rather effective fist of it!

Tony Pulis' job is not to entertain the fans of opposing clubs, or to send out his team of journeymen to play attractive football that would get him admired, relegated & sacked!

Stop moaning everyone, we weren't good enough over the last 2 games against Stoke, nothing more, nothing less!

I agree with you!
Football, by some is labelled "the beautiful game", Stoke do all they do to prevent the other team winning (inside or outside the rules) and for that you get my respect!
You're also correct that we still under acheive given the money spent, but its still a work in progress and with all the resources we have we will soon acheive what we've long desired.
Its true! We have won the lottery! But personally I'm not the kind of supporter who would diss other teams for doing what they need to do!
That crass imo!
I'm a die hard Blue but I'm not that blinkered that I can't understand Stokes or any other teams ambitions to remain in the top football flight by what ever means
 
I agree with the stoke fan as well to a degree.

I don't have a problem with the way Stoke play, their fans are happy with it and their getting the results they want so why should we contradict them?
Yes it isn't the prettiest of football, but that kind of football is almost guaranteed to keep you in the Premier League and that's Tony's job, to keep them in the EPL.

As stokie said, we should be concentrating on how OUR team is playing...lets get behind OUR lads and OUR manager ahead of the upcoming fixtures FFS!!

Who wears a f***ing scarf to manage a football team? And admittably Man Citeh are good at what they do, dive around like fucking nonces (Richards), defend like schoolboys while constantly appealing for invisible offsides or fould (Toure), put their boot into the bollocks of opposition midfielders (Viera), fail to stop the simplest of shots (Given), wave imaginary cards at the officials (Mancini) etc.......

I was going to reply but to be honest I'm that surprised that you lot have got internet down there. Last time I went to Stoke they were still throwing stones at the moon...

And last time I read it, the username StatesideStokie seemed to suggest that I was in fact, in the States and not in Stoke......although I am still partial to lobbing a few stones at the moon. It's an activity not dissimilar to a Manchester City fan waiting for his team to win the Premier League. You keep thinking it might happen, but in the end you just know it will never happen.
