spurs, with twitcher's own brand of swashbuckling attacking football, scored 67. (including 12 against wigan).
villa, with their bright young manager leading them in a season regarded as something of a success, scored all of 52.
those media darlings the rags (wait for it) got 18 more points, but only 13 more goals, than city. (including 11 own goals).

Spurs came to your place and played you off the park...throughout last season you had hard times controlling games, keeping possession and had hard time break down teams. You have some really good individual players, but even watching your 2 pre season games, same thing, cant keep the ball and lead a game. i know you gonna say alot of players were missing. But im talking about Mancini and how he set up his team, after being there 8 months, you would expect the team to show some signs of Mancini, how he wanna play....and you guys are still lacking. I really think you will have hard time to deal with smaller teams as yuo will be taken serious now and teams will defend deep. Do you have confident Mancinis fotball can break down teams week in week out?

we had a hard time taking 6 points off chelsea too & only scored 6 goals, including 4 at their place. we also scored 7 against arsenal in 2 wins at home. you can be equally selective & pick out crap performances against our bogey teams spurs & everton (both twice) but overall city had a decent season. we'll see what the new season brings but every rag i know, and plenty more i don't, are absolutely shitting their pants.

you finished fifth after spending 100s of million pound. Now Im not a man u fan and I hate those bastads, but do you guys honestly believe Mancini is the man to win the league? if you do...then fair enough. i just think he's too negative and the way he set up his team, they wont be able to break down teams week in week out. I also dont think he's gonna be able to handle the pressure that your team will receive the moment things are not going well. The whole media is gunning for you and will exaggerate the smallest mistake he does in order to turn the fans against the team. All im saying is your team has never been here and will not cope this season. I think you will finish fourth....will that be good enough?
