I know for a fact that city are signing Peter Crouch

just mentioned to the missus that we are expressing a bit of an interest in peter crouch to which she replied "i told you last year he will sign for city one day" This all came about after a dentist colligue of hers was out for a bit of a meal/gathering and crouch wa there and during the course of the evening was heard saying that he was a bit of a blue and would like to play for city one day.The third party colligue of my wife has no reason to make it up as he aint a footie fan and didnt even know who crouch was ...lol At the time i first posted about this some couple of years ago i think whilst he was at liverpool i was reasonably happy at the thought of crouch comming to us but we have moved on in a couple of years and can and should aim a lot better....ffs he struggled against bleeding andorra but dont be surprised if we go for him
 
If it means we dont sign RSC I am happy. Whatever people say hes better than what we have at the moment (Caicedo, Evans, Jo, Benjani)

Ok thats not saying much but pretty much anyones better than RSC......In a decent side he can easily get 15 goals in the league in a season. When was the last time we had a forward scoring that many goals ?

In the top flight last player to score 20 was either Brian Kidd or David White, but I'm not sure if White's were all league goals. I agree and we will need players who will be stepping stones to the next level. I think Bellamy is one and Crouch or RSC will be another.
 
I haven't red any of these posts sine I seen the thread, so have know clue on people's thoughts of city getting him.

All i'm going to say is that he is the biggest bag of balls in the prem, and if city sign him I will be so pissed of.

does any1 no which other club is in for velencia from wigan,chairman spoke of a 3rd club top six he said but didnt mention who it was ,is it another 1 of are secret signings just a thought,heard this on sky sports news straight from dave whealans mouth

Not want us to spend £15m on a player that has only scored 10 in a premier league season once or twice does not equate to demanding that we sign the worlds best.

Signing Crouch wouldn't be an embarrassment, but it would be a poor signing.

Can't wait until we lose this inferiority complex that we shouldn't aspire to better players than Crouch.
