I Know It’s Over

Football goes in cycles always has always will. Drink in the good times, support the boys through the tough times. If you really thought this would last forever and felt entitled enough to get the arse when it didn’t, then jog on.
Yeah hoozah!
Obviously we're all going to stop going and jog on.
Whilst your post will understandably go down well, it fails to take into account the reasons WHY it may not last longer. Afterall, I imagine that's the intention of every single employee working at the club. I'm sure there will be much analysis of the current situation within the club - rather than just sit there and say "oh well that's that. Good whilst it lasted, mustn't be entitled".

Don’t forget the Pearce team when they only scored one goal in the league after the new year. I kept going every week thinking things could only get better, but they never did.
Scored several away from home after New Year. But not one solitary fucking goal at home.

Agreed, and no doubt with a club as well run as ours processes are in place to ensure that any down cycle doesn’t last as long as Liverpools or the Rags. There are plenty of potential reasons things have not gone our way in the last four weeks. Injuries, lack of motivation, thin squad, lack of clarity about Peps intentions. Some of this is understandable and some isn’t. My point about jogging on was more around if people haven’t got the stomach for the fight then there are two options.

Cheers.
