I Know It’s Over

Depends what you mean by "over"

Winning the Premier League this season?

Highly probable, but even Ferguson's 1993-2013 dynasty suffered three consecutive seasons without winning the PL

Winning any trophies this season?
Quite possibly but in all honesty would that be a disaster?

A return to mediocrity and yo-yo seasons?
Highly doubtful as even if we finish out of the Top Four we'll be financially strong enough for a Summer revamp

My only conclusion is that we've now got a generation gap in our support and anyone under 25 can only remember City as genuine Premier League contenders
However not being born is no excuse for missing the 2-1 defeat at Bootham Crescent

I didn’t really mean anything tbh mate, both started this thread and bumped it when I was a bit pissed for laugh to shoe horn a Smiths reference in.

Quite funny that people are reading so much into it.

Why the fuck did we let Palmer, Lavia and Delap go

To be fair Palmer at City wasn’t the Palmer that’s at Chelsea.

Well done to him, but we weren’t to know he’d turn into a monster the second he left City.

He’s a bit dim and allegedly a rag but actually seems like a nice enough lad. I’m happy for him.

We've already done the three consecutive seasons without winning the league (14/15, 15/16 & 16/17) I know only one -16/17- was Pep in his first season ;-)

He wasn’t a monster on Sunday, very poor and ineffective

No worries mate

One thing that's always puzzled me is why so many football chants originate from Boney M songs and yet hardly any from the trendier bands
