I know its a draw but....

So dissapointed with that tonight, can understand why he did it but i thought they were there for the taking.

What the fuck is wrong with you guys? it was UNITED? not a pub team, They know how to defend and did if pretty well tonight! they played their strongest eleven.
And United playing their strongest 11 isn't an excuse any more; we're as good as them, if not better man for man. I want Mancini in but he desperately needs to take a different approach in these games because the Italian mindset really doesn't work.

Yeah you're right, we should have played 3-2-5, handed them the midfield and the game. But at least we'd have lost gallantly. ffs

Sorry, a POOR rag side? That's absolute nonsense, and you should know it.

I'm slightly disappointed, but for god's sake, we're talking about a team that are above us in the table, unbeaten this season, and have challenged for the past god knows how many seasons.

Get some f**king perspective. This was always going to be a tough game.

Of course it is a POOR rag side. Compare it to the sides they have had and compare OUR sides to the one we have now. That is NOT nonsense.

I don't care where they have finished in the table in previous seasons or for how long, my point IS that they were there to be taken because poorer teams than us have done it at THEIRS. And it showed tonight. They were poor against us in the last COMS Derby and they were even worse tonight.

And I've got "f***ing perspective" thanks.....and it seems to be a "tough game" in the minds of a few, when in reality it shouldn't be. Not against that team....it's POOR!

The thing that annoys me is that they were there for the taking. The performance was lacklustre, negative and lacked any kind of passion. A bit of forward thinking and we'd have battered them tonight. These tactics work against Chelsea but they never do against United.

I thought we'd have beat them, but to say they were there for the taking is bollocks. Sometimes you just have to appreciate that the other team played well. They came to sit deep and hit us on the break. They didn't really make Hart work, but they defended extremely well. A draw was a fair result and a good point.

Jesus. Why do people seem to think that those of us calling for a more attacking mentality automatically means we want them to go all out? I don't. I just want to see a bit more creativity, a bit more forward thinking rather than passing backwards or sideways.

Fair enough, but give some credit to the opposition. they defended well and limited our options. I think both sides cancelled each other out to be honest. But my point is, they sat deep and played on the counter. If we'd have thrown caution to the wind more in the name of entertainment, we'd have lost. I'd rather we take a point than lose in an entertaining way.

I can do all the comparing you want and I still come out with a damned decent side. Van Der Sar, Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand, Fletcher, Scholes, Nani - I know they're Rags but I'm not going to let that get in the way of objectivity, that's an extremely strong core, a title-challenging core.

"I don't care where they have finished in the table in previous seasons or for how long" - Well you should, to be quite honest. This 'building a team' malarky isn't pure bluster, you know. It makes a massive difference if players are together for a long time, especially under the same manager. Have you ever wondered why it's only Man Utd and Arsenal reserves that seem to be able to play in the same style as the first team in England? Have you ever wondered why Xavi and Iniesta seem to have an almost telepathic way of communicating on the pitch?

I need the phrase " winning mentality" to be explained to me.

I guess it's something we havent got and are still trying to work on.
WINNING MENTALITY: They don't have a sniff of goal They counter and it leads to fuck all. They don't know where the net is - what we do.
