I Love the Taste of Salty Tears...

The Geordie doesn't seem to understand having money doesnt guarantee you anything. All the others do. All the top clubs have spent a shit load of money, some more than other but all have spent enough to get players in to win them league titles.

The difference is, City have been so dominant because we've had a long term strategy, we identify targets long in advance, we don't simply panic buy the in demand player or somebody another club is linked to and worry about how they fit in later, over the last 5-6 years we very very rarely make a dud signing, we're the best run club with the best manager that's what separates us from the rest.

United, Chelsea, Liverpool even Arsenal have spent the kind of money needed to assemble a side capable of winning the league, none of them have spent as astutely as us.

The brummie United fan is so easily set off, and blurts out every united cliche under the sun once he gets going, great to watch him lose it. the city fan has him on a string. The Chelsea guy is everywhere, he sometimes gets thing so unbelievably wrong but to his credit he speaks more sense than the majority of thee Internet famous fans.

Wouldnt give any of them the time of day , same with all the Rag blogs/podcasts on You tube , their self entitlement is hilarious and lets face it after 15 years of Ashley and any f&ckng barcode will have a massive chip on his shoulder , the majority of these c*nts on social media dont go to games , have no affinity with the local area of the football club and have zero knowledge of the team they fantically support from 200 miles away.
Just a few knobheads in their bedroom , scratching on and living in fear of their mam walking in when they are cracking one off to Pornhub , small brains with big mouths and sociallly inadequate who actually believe their opinion is of any relevance.
Bunch of dreamers.

I think this Geordie fat cnut is a tool, but to see him and the other Bitters crying was heartwarming.

Only a miniscule of what they say is true, but watching the slapped arses just satisfied my soul...

Who's the wet lettuce defending us? :-|

A few things wrong with this...

1. The Geordie was correct in saying ManUre have spent the same amount as we have, but that we started with a better squad, so regardless of what the Rags spend, we'll maintain the same starting distance between us, unless they spend significantly more.

That being said why didn't the City guy explain that's why City had 4/5 years of accelerated spending at the very beginning of our takeover in 2008 to close the gap? Spending the same as the rest would have maintained the huge gulf between us. If other teams want to catch & surpass us, they need to spend more, just as we had to... But wait, they can't can they? They created FFP to stop City and/or another City from happening again. Ooops! :-)

Also why didn't the City dude point out that between 2012 - 2016/17 we weren't allowed to spend fuck all comparatively because of FFP? Everyone loves to overlook our €50m nett spend limit per season imposed by UEFA/G14 during that period.

The plank also forgot to mention that HRH hasn't put a penny of his own dough into City's squad since 2013/14, & to buy £200m worth of full backs Pep needed after his first season, we sold 10% of the club to a Chinese media conglomerate? Why didn't he also mention that to further fund the rebuilding of the squad, we sold another 13% of the club for £450m to a US based sports investment & Marketing company?

Barca, Real & Juvé etc could have done the same, but they all opted to sink themselves further into debt in pursuit of success in the hope that the rewards of success would pay off their spiralling debt. So Barca's final solution? They're €1.4bn in debt, & have just secured a €600m loan to buy more players, alongside a further €1.6bn loan to build a new fucking stadium! And it's Manchester City who're a problem to world football???? :-|

2. Why didn't the City guy also highlight how much money ManUre spent during their most successful period in comparison to the rest of the league?

3. Why didn't the City guy also point out how much the Dippers spent in comparison to everyone else during their most successful period?

4. Why didn't the City guy ask the Geordie, where were his complaints when the Dippers of the 70s & 80s, & the ManUre sides of the 90s & noughties & the Chelsea teams of the 2000s hoovered up everything in sight after out-spending everyone else?

5. Why didn't the City guy point out the MILLIONS KK spent trying to hunt down ManUre? Selective memory????

6. Why didn't the City guy remind the Geordie about the millions spent by Blackburn to win the league?

7. Talking about great Managers, why didn't City guy tell the Geordie look at the team Mancini inherited, & the one he left behind? Why didn't he then highlight the team Pellegrini inherited, & the one he left behind which just about scraped 4th, & were almost relegated from the UCL? Why didn't he highlight that Pep took over a City team which had TEN PLAYERS over the age of 30, & by far the oldest defence in the league?

8. Yes City have spent Quadrillions, but why didn't the City guy point out how much have we received in player sales to balance the books? YES, we've posted an operating profit for every season since 2014 except for 2019/2020 because of the global pandemic, but yet our model for running a football club is bad for the game? :-|

9. I'm pretty sure it was reported 2 days ago that City only have 17 senior players, with the rest coming from the Academy. So why didn't the City guy ask them to qualify where are all the world's best players are who we've apparently hoovered up, denied to everyone else therefore turning European football into a one horse race?

10. And finally... To Josep Guardiola, the club management & the coaching staff. Give me the same money & team & I STILL wouldn't achieve what Pep has! Pep is the proper manager we needed right after Mancini, & if Pellegrini showed us one thing it's that having the money, spending it wisely & coaching the team to success are THREE completely separate things.

Yes you stand a better chance with quality players, BUT who consistently broke the British transfer record to no avail? Who keeps chopping & changing management regimes, with no long term plan behind these changes & changes of direction? ManUre! But yet it's City who are ruining football. :-|

The bits I agree with are the comparisons of the current iteration of City, & the Brazil side of 1970 & Pep's Barca team of 2009-2012. Pep has rewritten the footballing rule book & done it without a recognised striker or a left back. We buy what we need & if what we need isn't available, the money stays in the bank until what we need becomes available.

If we had Messi, Ronaldo, MBappe, Neymar & every other world class player in our team, the Geordie might have a point about us using our financial might to buy every superstar player on the planet, BUT near enough every superstar player we currently have City turned them into what they are. KDB, Stones, Walker, Sterling etc were all laughed at by opposition fans as second rate wastes of dough. It doesn't look like the bastards laughing now though does it?

Not just Newcastle, but what EVERY team needs to do is to stop hating on City & follow our best practice. We've shown how it can be done, so there are few excuses why others haven't followed suit.... Having said that "There's only ONE Pep Guardiola", so the haters can go fuck themselves! :-)

After reading this I am wondering if the City fan even spoke at all, he seems to have forgotten plenty of stuff to say.
