I reckon Jose is going to be on the market.

keep him away from city

the events at the match tonight and what he said afterward place him as one all time most arrogant twat

barca stifled his plan, and he reacted like coward claiming the referees and uefa are conspiring against him. did anybody else catch him laughing and smiling a messi scored both goals?

on another note, 30m for marcelo?

if bob WANTS to go who honestly would turn jose down, i do understand peoples loyalty to mancini he's really nice fella and i'll understand if the owners keep him but jose would have us going for the title instantly.same as bob i suppose with his boring game plan but he knows the english much much better than bob.
he can draw players like bob and odds are carlos would stay.

of course the one thing about keeping mancini is stability, jose wont give us that but he could leave us with a title or two when he yet again he ups sticks.

Dunno really if he is going to get sacked. After all...who could do a better job than him?

Playing style yes...but he only plays like that against Barca.

Am I the only one who thinks he might have a bit of a point? The Chelsea game at Stamford Bridge sticks in my memory as being amongst the most one-sided refereeing performances I've ever seen.

Just watched it back and I'd entirely forgotten about a Barcelona sending off as a result of Anelka's dive so not quite as one-sided as I recalled but Chelsea were denied four clear penalties. One was forgiveable because it looked as though Yaya (although he was all over Drogba before they even got to the box) had won the ball but for the others there are no excuses.

Whoever Jose manages next season, his assistant manager better get ready to stand on the sidelines for European matches.

Jose won't be allowed there for quite some time I suspect.

He has a point. Barcelona is the most admired team atm. For their football. Of course..they have their haters too.

But honestly...they have power off the pitch. Wouldn't be suprised if that ref yesterday was one huge barca admirer.

That Chelsea game...it's a perfect example of a ref that was either paid or he was a biased barca fan.

Mourinho said that the CL victory Pep had 2009 would put him to shame. I couldn't agree more. Chelsea should have gone trough easily and that was really one the most undeserved CL victories ever.

firstly i think RM is secure in his job...getting to the FA cup final has done this I think

secondly i dont think id want JM....yes he wins things, yes all players seem to have the highest respect for him but there is something about his style of football i dont particularly like and also the fact that he wouldnt stay here very long 1-2 yrs and he would be off.

and then there is the interview like the one he gave last night

sorry but i know he is trying to crank up the pressure for the next game but its embarrassing......

Ramos deserved t be booked and possibly more (i jjust dont see what people see in him as a defneder...id take any of our defenders over him)......the red card on pepe....might have been a bit harsh but he did go in with his studs up at shin height

regardless of all of that barca were far the superior team...if it was anyone that was trying to cheat it was madrid...they were playing dirty all nigtt (there was one incident where a barca player fell to the ground like he had been shot and actuall he had been barely touched bu thats about it).....di maria was diving all over the place, ronaldo his normal petulant self as well

so jose but you were beaten by a far superior team....get over it!!

did he even acknowledge the two brilliant goals by messi?????????

Last night was a complete disgrace. It seemed to me that Madrid did not want the ball and were quite happy to let Barca have it. See if you can break us down. While that may be acceptable for Birmingham if they are playing City at Eastlands it is quite another matter for Real to try it in the Bernebeu especially when you consider that their team is extremely talented. Ronaldo, Ozil, Alonso, di Maria, Casillas. Not too mention the much better bench they had last night.

Mourinho like he was in Italy is extremely unpopular in Spain. His humour, which won him fans in England, is seen as downright rude and arrogant here. I also think he is getting worse in that department rather than better as the pressure mounts over the years.

While many on here would love Jose at City I personally would not. He was well and truly exposed last night. During the game I was actually thinking the unthinkable that if Madrid won I´d have to support United. Because although Ferguson is a horrible little man he does send his teams out with a positive mentality. With Mou you get all the off field shit and then a performance like that which makes Bob´s teams look like Holland in the 70s.

It is downright rude and arrogant and didn't win as many "fans" as you might imagine. The press loved him in England because he fills inches and sells copy but he isn't half as calculating as some would have you believe. He's just saying what he thinks a lot of the time and it's so stupid that people assume he must be up to something clever.

He wants the United job and he will probably get it. He suits them, thinks the worlds against his teams, always complaining ,arrogant .The ideal successor to you know who.Whats wrong with Bobbie anyway?

Spot on - Pep played him at his own game and shafted him. Barca were the away team let´s not forget. The onus was NOT on them to throw caution to the wind. The so called special one got well and truly fookin owned last night and now he´s making excuses for a truly reckless challenge from a defender who thought he´d managed to convert into a world class midfielder on the back of one fookin cup final

You make it sound like Pep won him tactically. The truth is...Barca is superior. Mourinho is the best manager no doubt. And he has a point. Barca have a history of getting decisions in the past years. And the diving was a disgrace.

But barca is best in the world now. Thats the truth. Barca is probably the only team that can win any of Mourinhos managed teams. Even if Mourinho has a record of winning against them sometimes.

But Mourinho can't stop them always..no matter how great coach he is tactically.

He points to a conspiracy theory and that all decisions go against him. I have 2 decisions which make a mockery of that. Barcelona had a pefectly good goal disallowed at the nou camp which would have put them into the final over Inter last year and in the copa del ray Pedro had a perfectly good goal disallowed which would have meant the game wouldnt have gone to extra time.

The fact is the guy is good at creating a siege mentality much like a certain drunken scotsman but just because he doesnt manage them lot he seems to get alot more credit purely because he doesnt manage the rags when in reality he is exactly the same as fergiscum. As someone said he gets the press and people think he is up to something clever much like people fergiscum is up to something clever, the fact is what they do is so very basic people refuse to take it for what it is as they refuse to believe that people who are supposed to be so smart could be so dumb.

Not read the whole thread but can guess a lot of the content!

Jose is a talented manager who gets the most out of his players but tactically is not what we would enjoy watching every week at City. Personally I do not want his brand of football here, those who want him at City must have short memories of why he got shown the door at Chelsea, it was for his boring brand of football and his arrogance knows no bounds.

Let him wait for Fergie to pop his clogs and take over the Swamp!!!

Jose??? Not for me thanks!!!

Yeah...but Inter wouldn't have had to play an hour with 10 men in camp nou if it wasn't for Biscuits diving.

The Pedro goal was offside...

Mourinho is a great coach. But i want to keep Mancini. I want him to stay for years.

barca also has a history of not getting decisions in the last years. Its just that there is no whining about it from the manager so you ignore those decisions. Take the offside goal for Diego Milito last year in the semis, or the blatant pen on alves in the same game. Or what about the ref claiming yaya handballed, disallowing the 2-0 goal in the return leg vs inter.

In the Arsenal games, Wenger of course ignored the disallowed Messi goal which should have stood. He also ignored two pens for barca not given in the return leg.
