I still think we will win the league

Disappointing yesterday but we were written off like this in both of the title winning seasons. Leicester lose one and draw 2 is all it will take to claw them back. Spurs haven't won in 3. Arse similar. We have to hit form. I think we might just use the derby as a springboard. 27 points to play for for Christ's sake. The waiter will scupper Leicester Monday, wait and see. He's sound tactically !

we all hope worsley is right and we can battle through this slow, shite, tedious, predictable football we are playing,

but its not going to happen we are fucked, my prediction Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal, West ham we may get 5th
 
Unlikely yes but impossible? No.

We have won it from impossible positions before and until its mathematically impossible i will have hope no matter how small it is.

Most will say i'm deluded but i dont care to be honest.
 
Id rather be deluded and be an optimist we have been poor this season all it takes is our form to click like first 5 games of the season and you never know we turned it around with 6 games to play and 8 behind the scum.
 
Actually thought we had a chance before yesterday's game but the players and management put a stop to that hope.

Our fixture list aint easy and I'd take a point next week.
 
We will win the leauge, but not premier leauge, not champions leauge,but
The leauge in believing that we can win the qadruple without a fotballteam. ..
 
There isn't a reasonable argument to be made that we can win it, there just isn't one!
If, a big if, on the off chance we win all 9 games it would still take an enormous collapse from Leicster and that's without mentioning Spurs and Arsenal going on a run

We haven't won 2 on the trot since October, how are we going to win 9?

I think we will lose away to Cheslea, Bourenmouth and Southampton, probably win the home games against the shit teams and it's a toss of coin what happens V United and Arsenal - surely we can't go all season without beating a top half team?

Where is our form going to come from? Please don't say 'when our injured players come back' because I've been hearing that since before Xmas!
 
I think a team could win it from here. Our 11/12 team and even 13/14 could win all those remaining fixtures, but I can't see this team being capable of doing what is now required.

It's possible but the big difference between 2012, 2014 and now is that we have 3 teams that need to fuck up in the next 9 games rather than one. That's what makes it far less likely to happen even if you ignore our poor league form this season.
 
In 2012, we needed United to drop 5 points, and then it was back in our hands.

In 2014, we only needed Chelsea to beat Liverpool.


Any comparisons with those seasons are ridiculous.

City have just drawn 0-0 at Carrow Road. We also drew at Villa Park, and were lucky to win at Sunderland.

This isn’t a blip. This is what happens when people ignore the warning signs, (from as far back as Loftus Road and Turf Moor last season) and cling to the misguided belief that everything will suddenly come good.
 
Once it dawns on the players how many ££££££'s they are going to lose in bonus payments I expect them to put in that extra fight to get 4th or 3rd place, unfortunately champions or runners up maybe too late now.

It doesn't though does it. We need to click which is not going to happen and wouldn't guarantee we would win every game anyway and 3 other teams need to capitulate.

Not in 2012 I didn't mate. Our squad ain't great anymore I'm afraid and our manager is fucking useless. In 2012 we had an outstanding and hungry squad with a winner for a manager. Gerrard ain't slipping this year mate.

Exactly, the head tells us no chance but as City fans you have to hope, believe and keep the faith.
Tough I know but that is what football is all about.
 
Not a chance of winning it anymore! I just hope we finish in the Champions League for Pep. If Leicester win it it's just been a mad season and we can look forward.
