I want Barry out of the team thread

There are some onhere that just will not see .....

Gareth Barry , even at Villa , was just an average midfielder ... so why do people expect more from him?

He'll never change , he has good games , he has bad ones ....... he gets the odd goal , but true consistency has never been his forte ..... and it never will be!
Exactly. He's a good, solid midfielder for a mid-table side but not someone you want in the middle of the park if you're chasing league titles.

Don't they both need to go. Don't you think it is the manager? I wouldn't bat an eye lid if we sold Yaya. He is a luxury player for me. Barry plays crab footbal, although he is capable of playing good stuff, this is the frustrating thing. I know Mancini likes to keep the ball, but has he seriously said "don't pass it forward" He needs dropping to liven him a bit in my book. We should of gone 442 on Saturday and had a go at them. Adebayor deserved a start, so did Johnson over Milner. Him and Silva should of been the wingers. Toure looked confused playing at the back, so rather than make a change at half time and waste it on Bridge, get a defender on quicker and take off Adebayor who he doesn't rate as high in the first place!

no thats not rubbish

this is rubbish:city 0-3 arsenal

Thats got nothing to do with Barry's form.

Barry was the best player against liverpool and played well for the rest of the games.

This is the same bollocks that was spouted about Nige, people think they should do things they both, weren't bought for, and have never done before.

Barry keeps the ball moving and uses his head. He was a main stay under hughes, and is again under Mancini, so two men in the know think he is worthy of playing.

For me he is a really good player and is the sort of player we need if we want to be near the top. Not every player needs to be able to do 'tricks' to be classed as good.

I don't say you are red, just wrong!

Barry is starting to prove his worth as far as I'm concerned. Yes, he should have done better to stop the goal but he was playing multiple positions during that game and his work rate was phenomenal.

Overall, a definite keeper for me.

WO WO WO you say hes playing multiple positions but then say you want him as keeper, thats pushing it a bit ;)
