Barry will always divide most City fans. It is not as if we havnt seen this before in Barry even before we signed him from Villa we knew his form goes from brilliant to average to poor it seems to me he could be replaced next season.

People that say he does the simple things right yeah thats all and good when he does it but if he switches off like he has done in his last 2 games it has cost us goals. He should know the basics of defending since he started out playing left back sadly I think he is slowly loosing his grip on a place in the team and the manager is no fool and I would of expect that he has had words with Barry about his form.

Gareth Barry , even at Villa , was just an average midfielder ... so why do people expect more from him?

He'll never change , he has good games , he has bad ones ....... he gets the odd goal , but true consistency has never been his forte ..... and it never will be!
